What is PixelSpyer?+
PixelSpyer is an ad research tool for ecommerce brands, dropshippers, agencies and media buyers. You can search over 3.1 million real Facebook and Instagram ads, track competitor brands, save ads to swipe files and boards, generate copy with AI and look inside Shopify stores.
Who is PixelSpyer for?+
Anyone who makes or buys Facebook and Instagram ads: founders of ecommerce brands, dropshippers looking for products, agencies researching for clients, media buyers who need fresh creatives to test and creative strategists who write briefs.
Do I need to connect my Facebook ad account?+
No. PixelSpyer only uses public ad data from the Meta Ad Library. We never ask for access to your ad account, pixel or business manager.
Is PixelSpyer affiliated with Meta?+
No. PixelSpyer is an independent product. The ads come from the public Meta Ad Library, but PixelSpyer is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta.
Is it legal to research competitors' ads?+
Studying ads that companies publish, and that Meta makes public for transparency, is standard market research. What matters is how you use it: learn from angles, formats and offers, and create your own ads rather than copying someone else's creatives, copy or trademarks.
Can I use PixelSpyer with my team?+
Each account is for one person. You can collaborate by sharing boards as read-only links on the Pro and Agency plans. If you need several logins, contact us and we will help you find the right setup.
Does PixelSpyer have an API?+
Yes. The Agency plan includes REST API access with 5,000 calls a day, so you can bring ad data into your own dashboards and tools. See the API docs for endpoints and examples.
