This cookie policy explains how PixelSpyer uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, on pixelspyer.com and in the PixelSpyer app. Read it together with our privacy policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as the fact that you are signed in. Similar technologies, like local storage, work in the same way but stay in your browser rather than being sent to our servers with each request.

How we use cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. Most of the ones we use are strictly necessary for PixelSpyer to work, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies to track you across other websites.

Cookie or storage Purpose Type How long
ps_session Keeps you signed in and protects your account Strictly necessary Up to 30 days, or until you sign out
Security and preference cookies Protect forms against abuse and remember choices such as staff sessions Strictly necessary Session to a few days
Referral cookie Records the affiliate link you arrived from, so sign-ups are credited correctly Functional 60 days
Theme and interface preferences (local storage) Remember light or dark mode, dismissed announcements and similar settings Functional Until you clear your browser storage
Payment provider cookies Set by Stripe, PayPal or Razorpay during checkout for fraud prevention and to complete payments Strictly necessary (third party) Set by the provider
Google sign-in Set by Google only if you choose to sign in with Google Strictly necessary (third party) Set by Google

We measure how PixelSpyer is used through our own first-party records of activity in the app, which do not rely on third-party advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies that require consent, we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it and update this policy.

Third-party cookies

Payment and sign-in providers set their own cookies when you use them. Their use is governed by their own policies:

  • Stripe, PayPal and Razorpay, during checkout and billing.
  • Google, if you sign in with Google.

Ad previews in the library may load images and videos from the original content delivery networks. Those servers may receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, as with any image on the web.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block cookies from all or specific sites. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use paid features. Clearing your browser storage resets interface preferences such as dark mode.

Where we rely on consent for any non-essential cookies, you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing will not affect cookies already used lawfully.

Changes to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
