The sort order decides which ads you see first. Picking the right sort helps you reach the most useful ads quickly, especially on plans with a limited number of result pages.
Sort options
| Sort | Shows first | Use it to |
|---|---|---|
| Newest | The most recently launched ads | Spot new tests and launches |
| Oldest | The earliest launched ads | Look back at older creative |
| Longest running | Ads that have run for the most days | Find ads advertisers keep paying for |
| Reach | Ads with the widest country spread | Find ads being rolled out widely |
| Page likes | Ads from pages with the most likes | Focus on bigger, established brands |
| Relevance | The closest keyword matches | Get the best matches for a keyword search |
Relevance applies to keyword searches. Sorting by reach is an advanced option, available on Starter and up.
How to change the sort
- Run a search or choose a preset in Discover (/app/discover).
- Choose a sort option.
- The results reorder. The sort is part of the page URL, so a bookmarked or shared link keeps it.
Pair sorts with filters
- Longest running with status active gives you ads that are still live after a long run.
- Newest with a niche shows the latest ideas in a category.
- Reach with a minimum countries filter narrows the list to ads rolled out across many markets.
- Page likes with a keyword shows how bigger brands handle the same product or angle.
