Using store spy to research Shopify stores
Enter a Shopify store's domain to see its products, prices and product count alongside the ads that point to it.

Store spy (/app/store-spy) shows you what a Shopify store sells and how it advertises. It brings together the store's catalogue and the ads in PixelSpyer that send people to it.
Look up a store
- Open /app/store-spy.
- Enter the store's domain, for example examplestore.com.
- View the results.
What you will see
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Catalogue | The store's products and their prices |
| Product count | How many products the store lists |
| Ads | Ads in PixelSpyer that point to the store |
Ways to use store spy
- Check a competitor's range. See which products they sell and at what price points.
- Connect ads to products. Compare the catalogue with the products they advertise to see what they are pushing.
- Sense-check a product idea. If several stores sell a similar product and keep advertising it, that is a useful signal.
- Compare pricing. Look at prices across stores in your niche before you set your own.
What works and what does not
- Store spy is built for public Shopify stores. Stores on other platforms may not return results.
- Some stores block access, so their catalogue cannot be shown.
- The ads section draws on PixelSpyer's ad library, which is mostly EU and UK ads. A store that does not advertise in those markets may show few or no ads.
Go further
- To find ads by landing-page domain across the whole library, use the Domain scope in Discover (Starter and up).
- To follow a store over time, track it. See Tracking stores over time.
- To follow the brand's advertising, add it to your brand tracker.
