Why most ads are from the EU and UK
EU rules require Meta to publish every ad delivered in the EU, so PixelSpyer's coverage is deepest for ads shown in the EU and UK.

If you notice that most ads in PixelSpyer ran in Europe, that is expected. It follows from how ad transparency rules work.
The Digital Services Act
The EU Digital Services Act (DSA) requires Meta to publish every ad delivered in the EU in its public Ad Library, together with dates, a summary of targeting and reach estimates. Ads that are not delivered in the EU are not covered by the same rule, so much less detail about them is public.
Because PixelSpyer collects ads from the public Meta Ad Library, its coverage is deepest where Meta publishes the most: the EU and UK.
What this means for your research
- Many global brands advertise in Europe. Brands that sell in the US, Australia and elsewhere often run ads in the EU or UK too, so you will frequently find their creative here.
- Creative travels. Hooks, angles, offers and formats that work in one market are often tested in others. English-language ads running in the UK or Ireland can be a useful guide to what a brand runs elsewhere.
- Reach estimates are an EU feature. The EU reach estimate in the ad detail view only appears when Meta publishes one.
Tips for finding ads for your market
- Use the country filter to focus on the markets you care about.
- Use the language filter (Starter and up) to find ads in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and more.
- Search with the Brand scope, or by landing-page domain (Starter and up), to find a specific advertiser's ads.
- Use the Scaling wide preset, or the minimum countries filter (Starter and up), to find ads running in many countries at once.
A note on completeness
Even for the EU and UK, PixelSpyer is a periodically refreshed snapshot rather than a live copy of the Ad Library. Each ad links to its Meta Ad Library entry if you need to check the latest details.
