I’m sorry to say it but your doctor doesn’t have a damn CLUE about high cholesterol. And it’s all because lowering your cholesterol IS NOT THE ANSWER!! Whether it’s low-fat diets... statins... fish oil... fiber supplements... cardio workouts... Absolutely NONE of that stuff works. NONE of it. Zilch. And the simple fact is that if you keep following that ridiculous, GROSSLY over-simplified advice... You are at a VERY real risk of suffering from a heart attack, and you are at risk of it far SOONER than you think. I’m talking about potentially mere MONTHS from now, so PLEASE LISTEN!!! My buddy Mike and I were thick as thieves, and I watched for almost 8 years as he struggled with high cholesterol. He was first prescribed statins about 6 years ago by his doctor (whom I can’t name but they’re a very respected one here in America — and he it would not be far-fetched to say he could be your doctor too). Mike followed his doctor’s advice to a tee. And, to my knowledge, he never missed a day taking his statins. And then, Mike passed away young at the age of 52. He would’ve been 53 this last Thursday if he hadn’t spent his final 8 years in agony... Treating everything BUT the root of the problem! Now, here’s the scoop: 90 days ago, I got my own bloodwork done and my LDL returned at 194. And in two months, I’ll be 53. And according to my family doc, that number’s going to keep going up. And guess what my family doc’s prescribing to me. More f*cking STATINS. I will miss Mike every day for the rest of my life... But I’ll be DAMNED if I go out the same way he did. I can’t do that to my family. And if you’re anything like me... If you’re a family man and you’re going through what I am, then we CANNOT let this happen to us. America is at risk and we could ALL be playing with our lives if we just keep following the trend and trust that those statins do what they should. Because fact is, we’re on borrowed time. So, PLEASE. Read this. Read every single word. Read it five times. THINK about it. I’m going to tell you EXACTLY what to do because I DO NOT want more of us Americans losing the people we love and even suffering horrible, numbing deaths ourselves just so that our “LDL” can go down to keep our doctors happy. PLEASE. Please please please read this. The answer is here. I’m John and I’m 52 years old, and I was born and raised here in beautiful Pensacola. I live with my wife and one daughter entering college. And I’m no special man. In fact, I’m probably just like you. I like sitting around after work, I like steaks and burgers at the cookout. I sleep late and I’m up early. I know right now, that it seems obvious why my LDL was so high. But truth is, that’s NOT why it was so high and the very fact that you thought that means that you’ve been fed a lie. I’ll explain this in a second. Anyway, that’s how I lived my life. And there wasn’t a single thing wrong with it. But as life would have it, our doc called me on the phone to talk about my bloodwork in private, alone with me. Now, I’ve already told you about Mike. He’d just turned 45 about a week or two before he was diagnosed. And his doctor had told him that apparently his LDL was “dangerously high” and suggested that he hop on statins as soon as he can. That should’ve been a red flag right then and there because there was no discussion of any alternative methods. And apparently... It was the most evidence-based treatment available at the time. Words of his doc, not mine. So Mike heeded to his advice... And faithfully took his pills every night before going to bed for almost 8 whole years. When I tell you that I don’t remember him missing a single night, I mean that. Within 12 months, his LDL came down by 33 points and his doc was elated to see it. And he was glad too that his trusty doc was able to catch the issue so far ahead of time that it wouldn’t become a problem. Anyway I know you’re busy so I’ll fast forward to 2 and a half years after that incident. Something was off and it didn’t make sense. He’d wake up stiff as a board and that stiffness wouldn’t go away until well into the afternoon. His joints would begin to ache at random times and he would suffer from unexplained muscular pain as well. Around the clavicles, shoulders, calves. That sort of stuff. And it got so bad that we’d cut back on our weekend hikes around Bay Bluffs Park until they eventually became weekend walks. At the time, it just seemed he was getting old. But fast forward one more time to the fourth year — halfway between getting on the meds and leaving us — he was a shell of his former self. Here was a family man who could take down a log of wood with an unsharpened axe, now struggling to put together a new shelf from IKEA. If the problems stopped there, his family and mine could’ve lived with it. But that’s when the nightmare REALLY began. Because that’s when we noticed signs of dementia. It started as harmless little things... forgetting where he’d put his keys after work... walking into a room and taking a second to remember why he went in the first place. Simple enough, right? We’ve all had that happen to us. But then he began to blank in the middle of important conversations. He’d forget my name constantly. And we’ve spent our whole lives together... growing up... through college... through our first jobs... we’d spent over 45 years sharing our lives with each other. Now here’s what REALLY f*cking pisses me off... We brought it up at the doctor’s clinic. What gets me in my gut is the sheer gall to say... “That’s okay. The numbers are going down and that’s all that matters.” And THEY KEPT HIM ON THE MEDS. Year after year after year with WORSENING symptoms. And all WE could do was watch our brother fade away every single day. By the 7th year, right before he passed, he was frail and pathetic. This is the man I tried to be like my WHOLE life. And now he can’t pick up a fork with steady hands to put food in his own mouth. His reactions slowed to crawl. He was weak. He could barely talk to us, let alone read and write. And when we brought this up for a second time with MORE urgency and put our foot in the ground... I felt a wave of relief wash over me to hear that they agreed and would make it a high-priority case. Problem is... All they did was up the doses of those statins that ALREADY weren’t doing a very good job of fighting his high cholesterol. And wouldn’t you know it? His LDL numbers began to climb again. FAST. The ONE time these docs did something about it... They chose wrong. And it was permanent. And we still hurt because of it today, and will continue to hurt from it 10 years from now. But Mike no longer had any sort of agency as a man. He was scared into upping the doses by these doctors who warned him of a fatal heart attack if he stopped taking the statins so far into his journey. And while the numbers did begin to drop once again... The effects just continued to GET WORSE. And it was at this point that I began to connect the dots between taking statins and the falling symptoms... But it was too late. 7 months later, our dear, shining beacon of love and integrity that was Mike left us. Our dear, dear Mike who did NOTHING but follow instructions. Who trusted the “experts.” They took away the weekend hikes he would dream about. They took away the Friday evening dinners our families would have and our two teenage kids would use as time to get away from their old men and bond. AND STILL. Mike left us. It happened anyway. So that left me. 90 days ago, I got my bloodwork done. LDL came back at 194 — higher than Mike’s in the beginning. My doc gave me the call. I picked up, and pulled over after work to have a chat. “John, the report has your LDL at 194. That’s dangerously high.” ... “And the numerical chart has trended upwards for the last two years.” ... “We’re going to put you on statins.” ... My heart sunk into my knees. And for a moment, I felt a level of mortality I’d never felt before. I could’ve practically been staring death right in its eyes and spitting in its face as if to tease it to come get me. All the memories of Mike came rushing back... Growing up together… Partying through our 20s... Pulling ourselves together after our disastrous first jobs... Starting families at the same time... And then Mike withering away and leaving us all behind in just 8 short years. ... “No.” The silence on the other end of the line was deafening. “No statins. I’m not letting it happen again.” Since I’d been with my doc for so long, he knew Mike’s story almost as well as I did. He might as well have been there the whole time. I didn’t need to explain myself. “Doc, give me 12 weeks.” “That’s all I’m asking for.” ... Doc wasn’t too happy with that, let me tell you. But I honestly couldn’t care less... Because all I could think about was how I was NOT going to leave my family behind the way Mike did. Not me. No sir. So for 3 months I did everything picture-perfect. I had real, whole meals every morning. None of that processed junk. I took fish oil pills, twice a day, while taking some of the fat out my diet. That means I swapped out the butter for real, expensive, freshly-pressed olive oil. I avoided red meat like the black plague. No more burgers at the weekend cookouts. You’d be hard-pressed to catch me munching on heavy, fatty goodness. Most of the time, I was chowing down on boring salads. I tracked my fiber down to the milligram. I worked my way up from wheezing as I walked up and down the block to comfortably jogging a mile at a 7:33 pace. And so I was actually excited to go back to my doc by the end of this little experiment of mine. So I did. I went back 90 days later. And my doctor just handed me the report and sat down in front of me without saying a word: ... “Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL): 190” ... 4 points. 4 POINTS I was down. All those months spent chipping away like a mule on steroids, never once letting ANYTHING get in the way... And I was down four measly points. Wow. I mean, WOW. So my doc does the honors and practically writes the ending of my story. ... “John. Enough.” “I’ve spent my whole life doing this, helping people like you.” “I know you’re afraid.” “And it’s not your fault.” “But it’s time. Let’s do this. I’m going to write you a prescription, okay?” ... I went home that evening a defeated man, with my tail neatly tucked between my legs. If this was how it was going to be, then I wasn’t going to fight it. I was just going to enjoy those final years before the blissful ignorance kicked in... Before my beautiful wife and my darling daughter had to watch me shrivel up like a raisin. Lose my strength by the day. Struggle to put names to their gorgeous faces. Thinking about it today still hurts me. So that night, I couldn’t sleep. Somehow... the numbers didn’t feel real to me. Mike was 45 when he hopped on the statins, and he was dead by 52. I was 52 and my LDL sat at 194. There was a bottle of statins waiting for me, teasing me to just pop the cap and take a pill. And call it divine intervention or pure luck... But that night I chose to go down to my home office and flick open my laptop. I groggily directed my mouse over to Google. I opened two tabs: One for Google Search and one for ChatGPT. ... “What keeps cholesterol high?” “Why can some people eat what they want and still have a low LDL while others can’t?” “What actually happens when cholesterol builds up?” ... Every single website told me the same thing... Eat less fat. Move more. TAKE STATINS. Thing is... I was already doing 75% of the stuff needed to achieve a low LDL. So I kept searching and searching... Looking for those men who’ve SOLVED IT. Not the ones who’ve “managed it” (read: delayed the inevitable with pills). No, I was looking for the people who made it out to the other side. And that’s when God himself reached a hand down to me and blessed me with a forum. One that was chock full of people posting their bloodwork... Celebrating their LDL dropping by 32... 43... even up to 57 points in some extraordinary cases. And the funny thing is — NONE of them ever once mentioned an extreme diet or having to rely on these shitty statins. But one thing in particular kept showing up... a recurring theme... Let me just show you the comment I bookmarked. ... “its not about the cholestrol or how much of it goes in. but can your body actually get it out of your system.” ... Five times. Five times I re-read that one comment. I could’ve wrote it down on a sticky note and shoved it down an open wound and it wouldn’t have sunken in the way it did for me that one night. Because the truth is... That one simple line contains the golden key. The simple, predictable method to quickly drop LDL that anybody could implement. Let me explain. See, up until this point: Everything I did, from eating pure and unprocessed foods... to taking fish oil supplements... and jogging a damn good mile... Do you see the pattern? Think about it. I’m going to tell you in just a second. ... Not ONE of them focuses on how cholesterol LEAVES THE BODY!!! That was my Eureka moment. It was all I needed. The fire was lit and I was sharp. And the more I researched, the angrier I got... Because NOBODY... not even my doc who’s practically family... had explained this one simple concept to me that would’ve saved Mike and I years of frustration, sadness, and guilt. NOBODY. So let me help you. You can think of it like an oil filter... Even if you poured the world’s best oil into it, the engine would be screwed as long as the FILTER remains CLOGGED. Makes sense, huh? You see, dirty oil continues to circulate through your entire system. And as long as that remains happening... It doesn’t matter what you put into the system, or stop putting in for that matter... If the very thing that’s supposed to CLEAN IT is blocked. And thinking back to it now, it’s actually nothing short of a MIRACLE that I was able to drop my LDL levels by four points despite my work. Because that’s what statins DON’T fix... They only reduce what’s already going inside. So while statins suppress your production of cholesterol, they never clean up the filter — which is incidentally the most important part of the equation. Now here’s what’s even more interesting. The liver produces a substance called ‘bile’. It’s a digestive fluid that breaks down fat. Guess what bile is made of? ... ... ... It’s CHOLESTEROL. In fact, that’s how your body “gets rid” of 50% of all the cholesterol in your system. So you can imagine what happens when your liver CAN’T do that properly. You see, years of drinking... eating processed food with thousands of chemicals... medications with even more chemicals... and everything else we put into our bodies finally take their toll. And when that happens, the liver CANNOT convert cholesterol into bile the way it's supposed to naturally and predictably. What happens when the liver can't convert cholesterol into bile? Simple. It builds up in the bloodstream. Your LDL number goes up. And it’s NOT because you ate too much fat... but because the exit is blocked. So that's when I understood what happened to Mike. I mean — what REALLY happened underneath all the science speak. And for 8 years, statins forced his LDL down by blocking the enzyme that LITERALLY PRODUCES cholesterol. And as a result, at every single visit, that paper looked spotless. But nobody addressed this ‘filter’. Nobody talked about maybe opening the exit. And the cholesterol that was already building up in his arteries, the plaque that eventually caused the heart attack... Those statins NEVER touched it. Not ONCE. Because they CANNOT remove what's already there. They can only slow down what comes in while the old buildup stays trapped. So his liver was clogged the ENTIRE time. All eight years. And the LDL number on paper went down during those eight years, but the buildup inside his arteries never left. And every day that filter stays clogged... Whether you're taking statins or not... Cholesterol just keeps building up in places that a blood test isn’t designed to show you. Now this is the important part for YOU... Because it’s entirely possible that YOUR number looks under control (like Mike’s). But inside, the exit is still closed. And the buildup ain't stopping just because a stupid piece of paper says you're fine. All of a sudden... Everything else made sense to me. Why did my belly kept growing even though I ate less? Simple. It was a clogged filter. Food was being stored as fat instead of being burned as energy. Why did I have to fight through the brain fog at 2 in the afternoon, when I couldn't even finish a sentence in a meeting? Simple. It was a clogged filter. Waste built up in the bloodstream and eventually reached the brain. Why was I bloated like a balloon after each meal? Simple. It was a clogged filter. There simply was not enough bile to properly break down food. Why was I exhausted all damn day even though I got my 8 hours in? Simple. It was a clogged filter. My entire body was running on fumes... on stale and dirty fuel. Why did I look so much older than I actually FELT? Simple. It was a clogged filter. I think you’re starting to get the pattern here. And those were JUST five things I'd spent years treating as totally separate problems... But they were never separate. They all just came from the same place in the body. So now I knew the problem. It was the liver, the filter, and how cholesterol exits the body. But knowing wasn't enough for me... I needed to know EXACTLY if there was a real way to fix it this. And that brings me to my next point... Over my research period... One compound kept showing up study after study after study after study... It’s a breakthrough new compound that methodically undoes years of damage. And it’s called ‘silymarin’. It’s the active molecule in milk thistle. Let me tell you... the research was undeniable. What it does is: It increases the body's production of glutathione, which is the molecule that the liver needs to neutralize accumulated toxins and eliminate them. It also regenerates damaged liver cells — the cells that produce bile and filter the blood. Plus, it strengthens their membranes so that they're more resistant to damage in the future. So this silymarin doesn't just protect the liver... it actually rebuilds it. Later that week, I dropped by the pharmacy and to grab me a bottle of milk thistle. And... I took it for 3 weeks. And I felt absolutely no difference AT ALL. So it was back to the drawing board. Now the studies showing real results, actual liver cell regeneration, restored bile production, and improved cholesterol metabolism... They all used silymarin at 80% CONCENTRATION OR HIGHER. Remember that because I’m gonna come back to it. Because that's the threshold where the compound is concentrated enough to penetrate your liver cells and activate the repairing mechanism. I quickly glanced at the bottle on my kitchen table. ... "Milk Thistle Extract. 300mg." ... WHAT!? No silymarin percentage anywhere on the label?? I dug deeper into it and the independent testing showed me something just ridiculous... And that is that most pharmacy brands come in around 30-40% silymarin. That’s LESS THAN HALF of the clinical threshold. Less than HALF. I had literally been taking something that was too weak to do anything. And I spent my money on that. A few hundred dollars, to tell you the truth. So I spent the next 4 days comparing every silymarin product I could find. Most of them were just the same underdosed formula branded differently. Same weak, flabby solution... new label and bottle. But then I found one that put the silymarin concentration right on the label. ... “Milk Thistle Liver DETOX. - 80% Silymarin - Pharmaceutical grade. - Sourced from New Zealand ... For context... The quality controls in New Zealand are FAR stricter than anything made here in our America. So I was excited to say the least. Now this solution had 8 active ingredients, not just Silymarin — but also two ingredients that the doctors call ‘Synergistic Enhancers’. Those ingredients are Turmeric and Vitamin C. Turmeric targets bodily inflammation and oxidative stress while Vitamin C provides the antioxidant support that Turmeric needs. If that sounds like a load of horseshit, don’t worry. What it basically means is that, together, they protect AND regenerate liver cells. That’s all you need to know for now. Trust me on that. Anyway, the company is called OxyFuel. So this time I ordered 2 bottles (instead of 7). And I didn't start a new diet... I didn't do a cleanse of some sort... and I didn't change what I ate. I was still chowing down on greasy ass food every Friday evening. The instructions said to take one capsule with breakfast and that was it... So I thought — let me log my FELT results (not the numerical lab results that mean absolutely nothing) in a journal of some sort. Now let me walk you through what happened at each major point. What you’re about to read is straight from my health journal that I’ve kept stashed away from my family. Until now, nobody else has seen this. But I want you to have it so you don’t waste your time and money like I did. ... WEEK 1. I’m in shock. My brain fog that normally kicked in at 2 PM, which I thought was just a byproduct of growing older, is gone. For the first time in years, I’m free of the misery. I was able to GET all of my work done and —— (my boss’ name) even asked me what the hell I’m doing differenty because I got so much work done. That’s funny. And I felt great all the way until I went to bed. I haven’t feel this level of energy since I was probably 25 years old. ... DAY 10. Tonight we went down to the Bonnelli’s on 9th Ave. Because I wanted to try a little experiment. I got me some heavy, creamy penne pasta. This is something I’ve been craving for at least a couple months now (probably since I started the diet way back)... But I’ve avoided it like the plague because it’s supposed to destroy my progress. Anyway, I had ZERO feelings of heaviness. There was no pressure during the drive back home. My body was just okay. Not amazing and not terrible — I just felt NORMAL. And that... man was that a relief. ... WEEK 2. I was getting ready for work this morning and I almost shit myself when I had to move my belt in one notch. I haven’t had to do that since I turned 35. And I’m not even dieting and I’m STILL eating the same junk every now and then. Now I know what the bottle meant when it said that my body would METABOLIZE fat instead of STORE it. Just wow. ... WEEK 3. Today was a goodie. My wife played her sweet music to my ears. "John, whatever you did... I like it. A lot. You look so much less... puffy? Bloated? I don’t know but keep doing it for me, please." And I hadn't told her any of this. Didn't want to jinx it. ... WEEK 4. This week was huge. My lab results just came back from — (my doc’s office). My total cholesterol is down 22 points, and my LDL is down 18. It was so ridiculous that doc ran it twice. And he didn't say anything at first... and then he hit me with: "Whatever you're doing, John, keep doing it. I’ve never seen anybody change this quickly in my 32 years doing this." And for the first time ever... He didn't reach for the prescription pad. I felt vindicated. ... WEEK 6. I walked into the office when Sally, my coworker, asked me if I'd gone on vacation. "Wow, John, what’s with the skip in your step? Not so tired anymore huh?" But I hadn't gone anywhere, obviously. I wrote earlier that I felt 25. And truth be told, I don't really. I am a 52-year-old American man and I like steaks and burgers. And I feel like a 52-year-old American man who likes steaks and burgers. But I feel like my body is finally working RIGHT. It’s processing what I eat instead of storing it, and it’s cleaning what needs to be cleaned instead of letting it pile up. My sleep... my digestion... my clarity... my energy. It’s in the face I see in the mirror every morning — it’s different. And all I had to do was take one capsule a day. Still on the same diet and same daily routine of doing things. ... And I think about Mike almost every day... because I finally understand what happened. For 8 years, those statins pushed his LDL down because they were just blocking the enzyme. And that’s the REAL reason his paper looked perfect. I don’t care what anybody says. So that kept his doc happy... but the filter in his body stayed clogged the entire time. It was decades of processed food, and thousands of chemicals in everything he ate. Plus, the medications... now that I think about it, Mike’s liver never had a chance to keep up. The cholesterol already building up in his arteries had nowhere to go. And nobody addressed it. Nobody ever thought to open the damn drain. Mike didn't die because he had high cholesterol... He died because 8 years of "treatment" just pushed down some stupid number on paper (which meant NOTHING) while the real problem kept growing through it all. His doctor told him statins were the gold standard and this and that... But they weren't. They were just the only tool he had. And, unfortunately, it wasn't enough. And I wish it weren’t true, but I still blame myself sometimes for not reading about all of this earlier. Losing Mike felt like a shotgun shell to the chest, and I DO NOT want that to happen to you or anybody you love. Fact is... America needs to come together. We can beat this pandemic that has 35% of our population struggling with it. Hell, the KIDS these days are started to get in on the problem, too. But we CAN’T beat this thing if the all we do is book a doctor's appointment, have them beat us over the head about our high LDL, and then prescribe those damn statins. Some people will continue to comply and watch their bodies fall apart. They’ll all deal with the muscle pain, the mental fog, and they’ll all slowly and painfully disappear into the void... no longer the men they used to be. Others will refuse and gamble on being the few lucky ones (which, by the way, is less than 1% if my memory serves me). Either way, both groups are losing because both are treating the wrong problem. Statins DO NOT fix the filter... they only slow down what comes in. And every day that the filter stays clogged, whether you're taking statins or not, cholesterol KEEPS BUILDING UP where blood tests CANNOT see it. You don't have to trade your muscles, your memory, and your Saturdays for a number on a piece of paper. I refuse it... because that’s what it means to be an AMERICAN. We stand up for what’s right, not what’s popular. You don't have to endure 8 years of side effects and cash drains like Mike did... all for a result that isn't even guaranteed to you. Because all you have to do... Is fix the filter... Before the buildup reaches the point of no return. So here’s the formula that turned my bloodwork around: https://www.tryoxyfuel.co/milk-thistle-detox Because I almost started the same medication that destroyed my buddy. And he never got the chance to know there was another way out. And whether I want to or not, I’m gonna have to live with it EVERY DAY... With the fact that there WAS another way. So, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... Don't let that be your story. Don't waste 8 years trading your body for a number on a piece of paper that won't protect you. Don't wait for the next blood test to tell you it's too late. PLEASE fix your filter today. EDIT: Here's the link again. I had people message me about some stuff on Amazon that looks similar... but don’t buy that junk. I always order directly from their site: https://www.tryoxyfuel.co/milk-thistle-detox P.S. By the way, remember that I noticed a difference starting in week 1. But even if you wanna count that as “placebo”... I mean, I saw REAL improvement in my bloodwork at 4 weeks in. And by week 6 my doc stopped talking about statins entirely. Hell, nothing about meds at all. And no side effects, thank God... All giving up the life I built. My LDL dropped 18 points, and if the doc can be trusted (he can) then the blood tests never lie. P.P.S. Remember that Mike took statins for EIGHT YEARS. And his LDL was “perfect” the entire time, according to his doc. By year 7 he couldn't pick up the groceries from his trunk anymore. He had forgotten my name numerous times, and he DIED of a heart attack at 52 with those "perfect" numbers. The buildup in his arteries wasn't because he ate too much fat (we BOTH did)... it was because of a clogged filter his body could no longer clean on its own. So if your numbers are going up and your doctor just gave you the statin speech, you have a window. Don't waste it on a medication that doesn't open the exit: https://www.tryoxyfuel.co/milk-thistle-detox
